Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT)

An oct exams gives a three dimentional image of your retina and optic nerve. It shows images in layers which helps the doctor to see any abnormal thickening or degenerations of areas of the eye. Early detection can halt the progress of macular degeration among other diseases before they cause irreversible vision damage.
