Ms. Michelle Valenzuela graduated from the University of Guyana with a Bachelor’s Degree in Optometry. Her clinical internship was completed at Mings Optical. Her interest in her chosen career of Optometry stemmed from seeing a great need for eye care especially in the outlying regions of Guyana.

She holds a Certificate in Refraction Techniques from the Caribbean Council for the Blind – Eye Care Caribbean. Her years of practical experience were gained by working at the Mabaruma Regional Hospital and the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation, where she worked with patients with various eye diseases and health conditions. Since joining Mings Optical, she continues to provide the optimum eye care and the best patient experience that Mings Optical is known for.
